In a context of unprecedented uncertainty, many questions are being asked about forest management. At present, important choices have to be made, not only by foresters but also by all those interested in this environment. It is therefore important for everyone - citizens, owners, future owners and elected representatives - not only to gain a better understanding of forest dynamics and have up-to-date knowledge of local scientific observations, but also to discuss and exchange ideas about what we really want to try to leave to our children.
