Vernissage exposition Zones de (non)être

As it does every year, 19, Crac is launching a call for projects from students and graduates of art schools in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Grand Est regions, as well as students from the Belfort-Montbéliard urban area. This scheme, which supports young artists, involves the production of an original work that will be displayed in the Box, the art centre's high-ceilinged showcase, and is also part of the City of Montbéliard's Christmas Lights programme.

For the third year running, the opening of the Christmas Box is also an opportunity to join forces with our local partners to bring you a friendly, multi-disciplinary event! Following the opening of the 10th Box de Noël, the prizes will be awarded in the 30 years of Le 19 competition, Parcours d'art en vitrine, in collaboration with Esprit Commerces Nord-Doubs. The winner will go home with a work by an artist who has marked the history of Le 19, produced in partnership with Hérilab at the Héricourt media library. To round off the evening and echo the Zones de (non) être exhibition, the 19 is also hosting Novices, trajectoires mutables, a performance by the Kif Dance company. At centre stage, a blurred, unidentified body questions norms, prejudices and preconceived ideas. As it searches for its identity, it absorbs images from those around it to create a unique existence in the world, far removed from categorisation and stereotyping...

The Christmas Box exhibition can be viewed from 6 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, from the forecourt of 19, Crac, day and night!
