Soirée théâtrale : Jenny Luxeuil, une étoile oubliée
The Union des Sociétés de Voujeaucourt is delighted to welcome you to the theatrical evening.
"Fiction inspired by the life of Lucienne Raphenne, born in 1905 in Luxeuil, a film actress in the 1920s.
Originally from Franche-Comté, she was known as Jenny Luxeuil."
Through this surreal encounter, the play travels through the 20ᵉ century:
Two wars, the Roaring Twenties, industrial metamorphoses, the changing status of women in a patriarchal society.
This story of a woman, free and fragile, also provides an original, non-melodramatic approach to illness and mental health, the dreams of youth and intimate struggles.
There is also much talk of love and freedom.
Book on 03 81 93 86 62.
