"Panoramas"

Paul-Élie Dubois brought back powerful compositions from these fascinating but no less hostile Algerian landscapes. Using watercolour and wash, let's build up our panorama as we go along. From draped figures to mountainous silhouettes, let's exercise our eye and our brush: meticulous detail, harmony and gradations of colour, atmospheric perspective.
