Concert : Mademoiselle K + We hate you please die

Katerine Gierak, musical mastermind behind the group Mademoiselle K (that's her, of course), has a sadly banal history of sexism: she arrived on the rock scene in the early 2000s and kept hearing "that she plays guitar well... for a girl". With no spirit of vengeance, but driven by a desire to make her mark, Mademoiselle K released her debut album Ça Me Vexe, which already made a name for herself. The second, Jamais la paix, was nominated for best rock album at the Victoires de la musique awards in 2009.
After Jouer dehors, she decided to release an English album despite the threat of her record label refusing to support her. The young singer has a way with ideas: Hungry Dirt Baby came out well, produced by herself. After Sous les brûlures, l'Incandescence Intacte (the title is as good as a profession of faith), Mademoiselle K re-released her successful debut album Ça Me Vexe on vinyl, reuniting with her original musicians for a tour that featured the album live on stage...
Then, in October 2022, she released the eponymous Mademoiselle K album and set off on tour again throughout the 22-23 season.

Following a revival, the quartet of We Hate You Please Die became a trio. A new format, a new artistic proposition, a new message. Bassist Chloé now takes the lead. From now on, We Hate You Please Die's message will be more committed to societal and anti-patriarchal issues, as they have always contributed to the More Women On Stage project. From explosive, tortured punk, We Hate You Please Die are reconciling with a more Riot Grrrl and early 90s UK punk movement whose sisterhood remains indisputable.
