Observation Astronomique on the Moon Again

Since 2019, when we celebrated the 50th anniversary of man's first step on the moon, we invite you to the traditional moon observation in the heart of Montbéliard on Saturday 5 July 2025 from 8.30pm.

The Club d'Astronomie CIEL MONTBELIARD will be setting up its observation instruments in the Place des Halles for you to discover or rediscover this unforgettable vision of the moon through an astronomical instrument (binoculars, telescopes, telescopes).

On Saturday 5 July, the moon will be after 1st quarter and we'll be able to observe large formations such as the Golf des Iris, which has a diameter of 240km, or small craters such as the 28km Euler crater isolated in the Mer des Pluies.
Come along with your family and enjoy this free public observation.
