To mark European Heritage Days, Montbéliard-Wurtemberg Castle is offering a range of activities to help you discover its history at your own pace, with family or friends.
- Self-guided historical tour:
Follow the museum’s historical trail and let yourself be guided by the key figures in the history of the County of Montbéliard, such as Henriette de Montbéliard, Frederick I and Sophie-Dorothée of Württemberg. An immersive tour to discover the château’s heritage collections.

- Children’s tour:
Younger visitors can explore the castle through a fun 10-step trail. Observation games, puzzles and the discovery of unusual objects punctuate this tour, which has been specially designed for families.
Included with the admission ticket for the historical tour
- The workshop corner:
An activity for families and children aged 4 and over, featuring games, mystery objects, art and craft activities, and observation challenges.
Led by Pauline Jean, cultural facilitator.
Saturday: 1.30 pm to 5 pm
Sunday: 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm to 5 pm

- Mystery trail: “An almost perfect heist…?”
Step into the shoes of a team of burglars tasked with stealing a work of art that has just been installed at the château. By solving the puzzles scattered throughout the trail, collect the clues and complete your mission… without getting caught.
This mystery trail is best enjoyed alone, with family or with friends.
