Rendezvous in the Pays de Montbéliard
In partnership with the IUT Nord Franche-Comté, the Pays de Montbéliard Tourist Office invites you on a unique sound journey to discover the region in a whole new way.
Through the podcast series “Rendezvous in the Pays de Montbéliard”, 21 students from the MACAST programme have created and produced 11 episodes, offering a different way to experience the Pays de Montbéliard – through its stories, iconic places and remarkable personalities.
After extensive research into the local heritage, they developed lively and accessible stories. They then went into the field to record interviews, atmospheres and authentic sounds. Each episode was written, recorded and edited by the students themselves.
The result: an immersive, fresh and authentic podcast series inviting you to discover the Pays de Montbéliard in a whole new way – by listening closely to its voices and stories.
Rendezvous 1: Culinary specialities
Anaëlle and Gaïa explore the region’s culinary highlights: the cheese specialities of Franche-Comté and the famous Montbéliard sausage.
Rendezvous 2: The PATT Collection
Awa, Corentin and Charlotte tell the story of a collector couple and their generous donation of 245 contemporary artworks, now exhibited in Audincourt.
Rendezvous 3: The Fort du Mont-Bart
Charlie and Enzo climb Mont-Bart and explore its military fort, part of the Séré de Rivières defensive system.
Rendezvous 4: Près-la-Rose Park
Justine and Malou enjoy the tranquillity of this iconic city park while discovering the Pavillon des Sciences.
Rendezvous 5: FC Sochaux-Montbéliard
Amine and Clément look back at the history of the legendary football club and its Stade Bonal.
Rendezvous 6: Protestantism
Clément and Maëline explore the historical roots of the Pays de Montbéliard’s connection to Protestantism.
Rendezvous 7: The Christmas Market
Dorine and Maëline immerse themselves in the magic of Montbéliard’s famous Christmas market and the legend of Tante Arie.
Rendezvous 8: Montbéliard-Wurtemberg Castle
Emeline and Léonie tell the story of the castle and its iconic towers overlooking the city.
Rendezvous 9: The L’Aventure Peugeot Museum
Lyad and Margaux discover the industrial and automotive history of the region at the L’Aventure Peugeot Museum including a vintage car ride.
Rendezvous 10: The Montbéliarde Cow
Emma and Kim trace the history of this iconic cattle breed, considered a true ambassador of the region.
Rendezvous 11: A Land of Music
Evans and Émile explore the Pays de Montbéliard to the rhythm of its diverse music scene.
The Pays de Montbéliard Tourist Office also works with MA scène nationale de Montbéliard to help you discover the region in a different way through its stories, heritage, gastronomy and local life!
