The 2 canals park

This natural area stretches around the confluence of 2 canals: the Rhône-Rhine canal and the Montbéliard-Haute-Saône canal. The river Allan, a tributary of the Doubs, also flows through this area. It has a great deal to offer in terms of both biodiversity and range of environments.
The site is a migratory stopover for observing passing birds.

It covers the municipalities of Brognard, Allenjoie, Etupes and Fesches-le-Châtel.

> Points of interest :
- natural wetlands
- bird observatory
- river stopover, typical lock-keeper's house
- canal bridge over the Allan

> Two walking trails:
- The 1.6 km circuit takes the curious into the heart of sustainably managed farmland in the Fesches le Chatel and Allenjoie area. This route is equipped with benches and picnic tables.
- The 1.3km trail, which takes in the wealth of wetlands in the Brognard and Etupes area. This more family-friendly trail is suitable for people with reduced mobility (it has been awarded the Tourism and Disability label for motor, hearing and mental disabilities). The trail has also been adapted for the visually impaired.

The path is equipped with picnic tables accessible to PRMs (2 tables, i.e. 4 places for PRMs) and benches along the path.

These paths are interspersed with rest stops equipped with street furniture and educational panels, and offer remarkable views of the typical landscapes of this site.
