Evad' Parc Montenois : Championnats de France de swingolf en double
"The 2025 French Doubles Swingolf Championships will be held at Montenois on the Evad'Parc leisure site on 4, 5 and 6 July. Nearly 200 participants from all over France will come to challenge each other on one of the most beautiful Swingolf courses in France.
In 2023, the Evad'Parc bid, presented by the Association Sportive Montenois Swingolf in association with the town of Montenois, has been chosen by the Fédération Sportive de Swingolf affiliated to the Fédération Française de Golf.
After hosting the French Swingolf Singles Championships in 2018 and 2021, it is with great honour that the site will host this new doubles competition. Organised every year, the French Swingolf Championships are used to select the best French players for the 2026 European Championships to be held in Germany.
The competition is open to licensed players with a national ranking and is divided into different categories: benjamins, youths, hopefuls, seniors 1, 2 and 3.
Doubles can be played by men, women or mixed teams.
3 days of competitions with 3 different game formulas:
- Scramble, the easiest: at the start, each player plays a ball, they choose the best one and from its location, each one plays a second shot and so on
to complete the course.
- Chapman, the most technical: the 2 players play a ball from the start, then swap them for the 2nd shot, and then choose the one that suits them best to finish the course by playing alternately.
- 2-ball start, the double chance: the 2 players each play a ball from the start, then choose one of them to play alternately until the end of the course.
These 3 days are preceded by an "Open Day" on Wednesday 2 July with free activities and introductions for all. On Thursday 3 July, the course is reserved for a training day, allowing players to get a feel for the technical aspects of the course.
During these 5 days, the site will be open to the public and will offer a snack bar and refreshments!
