Fête Nationale: Vieux-Charmont
The town of Vieux-Charmont is organising a day of entertainment to celebrate the bank holidays of 14 July.
The day kicks off at 2pm with a pétanque competition (bookings on site from 1pm), followed by a children's competition from 3pm to 5.30pm, with the prize-giving ceremony at 6pm accompanied by free entertainment.
At 7pm you can enjoy an aperitif and at 8pm a demonstration by "Les Texas Country".
There will then be a torchlight procession followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial at 9pm.
Finally, at 10pm, there will be a ball accompanied by fireworks at 10.30pm.
