An intimate and demanding form of music, the duo allows for a real encounter, a musical conversation, a dialogue without a net. Damien Groleau and Patrice Thomas will be performing their own compositions and themes by Bill Evans and Chick Corea, the starting point for this encounter.
Piano-double bass, guitar-double bass, saxophone-piano, vibraphone-piano... the combinations are limitless.
The two musicians will have some magnificent models in mind: first of all, the deeply moving Bill Evans - Jim Hall duo, and then the Pat Martino - Gil Goldstein duo with its perfect interplay.
