When you lose your parents, you're an orphan. When you lose your lover, you're a widower. When you lose your child, what is the word? When you're an artist of the spoken word, how do you face up to something unspeakable that doesn't even have a name? Everybody grieves, but nobody talks about it. How can we be together, build something common, around this individual and collective black hole, this great absentee of our shared spaces?
