Epopée des 8 Compagnons
Saturday 11 October at 7pm at the Église du Sacré-Coeur, an exceptional evening dedicated to one of the region's most emblematic groups: Les 8 Compagnons.
On the programme: a concert by the Chœur de Grammont choir, the screening of a film retracing the history of Les 8 Compagnons and a concert by Les 8 Compagnons.
A veritable local legend, Les 8 Compagnons have enjoyed resounding success alongside the 'greats' of French chanson: Dalida, Pétula Clark, Gilbert Bécaud... Their history, marked by decades of musical sharing, continues to resonate in the collective memory. True to their values of solidarity, they were keen to support the Sacré-Coeur church, which is in need of major renovation work.
All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Fondation du Patrimoine.
Tickets may be purchased in advance from the media library during opening hours, or on the night itself, subject to availability.
