Concert "Sonorités Insolites"

This concert offers a rare encounter between three instruments that are rarely heard together: the chromatic accordion (Philippe Borecek), the cello (Thérèse Bussière-Meyer) and the transverse flute (Philippe Renault). Each carries a strong identity - the vibrant breath of the accordion, the deep warmth of the cello, the airy clarity of the flute - but it is precisely in their contrasts that their harmony is born.
From Vivaldi to Connesson, Handel to Villa-Lobos, this programme crosses three centuries of music and brings styles into dialogue. The luminous baroque of Vivaldi and Handel rubs shoulders with the French poetry of Fauré, the popular energy of Bartok, the South American colours of Villa-Lobos, and the spiritual depth of Ernest Bloch. A musical journey rich in contrasts, where each work reveals a different facet of the accordion-cello-flute trio.
