Exposition des Amis du Vieux Seloncourt : Femmes d'ICI « de l'Ombre à la Lumière »
Women of ICI "from Shadow to Light
Exhibition organised by the Heritage Department of the town of Seloncourt with the participation of the Association des Amis du Vieux Seloncourt and the Centre d'Entraide Généalogique de Franche-Comté.
In Seloncourt at the Salle des Cossies, Place Croizat on 4/5/6 April 2026 from 2pm to 6pm and from 7 to 10 April from 4pm to 6pm.
All of the women presented here were born in the Franche-Comté region and had different life paths that led them to a unique destiny: humanist, Resistance fighter, sociologist, writer, feminist, painter, enarque, woman firefighter, teacher, nurse, historian, member of parliament, etc.
As well as those whose lives we can trace, there are the local women who were very close to the population through their activities and whom people like to remember, as a sort of collective memory of their town. But let's not forget all the anonymous people who did their duty, without expecting recognition or reward.
