Concert : Telemann, une mosaïque de couleurs

Concert: Telemann, a mosaic of colours. By the Conservatoire du Pays de Montbéliard

Following on from the Subtiles Mélodies concert, devoted to German baroque music, this new programme focuses on Georg Philipp Telemann.

Self-taught and a major figure of his time, he was not only one of the most famous composers of the eighteenthᵉ century, but also one of the most prolific in the entire history of Western music.

Traverso, violin, viola da gamba, bassoon and harpsichord vie for inventiveness in a rich and contrasting programme, in the service of music that is colourful, energetic and always subtle.

Programme: Quartet in D minor, Trio in G minor

With :
Keiko Murakami, traverso
Andrea Pujado, violin
Benoît Tainturier, bassoon
Chantal Baeumler, viola da gamba
Nicolas Aubin, harpsichord
