Concert : Mozart, sérénades et opéras #2
Concert: Mozart, Serenades and Operas #2 in Blamont! By the Conservatoire du Pays de Montbéliard
Following a tour devoted to Antonio Vivaldi, the Conservatoire is returning to the urban area with a new series dedicated to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his famous serenades for wind instruments.
Three different concerts, programmed over the course of the season in three different towns in the conurbation, will showcase these works, originally conceived for the open air. With Mozart's genius, these entertainment pieces take on a new dimension, combining finesse, breadth and richness of writing.
The monumental Gran Partita, with its imposing size and the diversity of its movements, reveals all the composer's subtlety and depth.
The opera Don Giovanni, meanwhile, is presented in an original version for eight wind instruments and two actors, who highlight the key moments with clarity, vivacity and humour.
The programme includes
Serenade No. 11 in E flat major
Excerpts from Don Giovanni
With :
F. Pourchot and L. Nguyen, oboes
Y. Togashi and C. Georgy, clarinet
E. Cottet and S. Guillon, horn
D. Hézard and B. Tainturier, bassoon
