Concert: Airs de Printemps. By the Conservatoire du Pays de Montbéliard
The women's choir invites you on a real journey to the heart of French music from the XIXᵉ and XXᵉ centuries, through melodies by Gabriel Fauré, Charles Gounod, Jules Massenet and Francis Poulenc.
Poetic pages such as Mai, Au bord de l'eau, Chanson de la brise and Pastorale make up a programme full of nuance and sensitivity.
By way of contrast, two guest string ensembles will be broadening the sound horizons and taking the audience into other musical worlds, for a concert full of richness of timbre and emotion.
