https://reservation.agglo-montbeliard.fr/event/661410-grand-choeur-ephemere
The Grand chœur éphémère brings together amateur singers from various choirs in the conurbation for a journey through five centuries of English music, guided by two emblematic queens: Elizabeth I and Elizabeth II.
The former, daughter of Henry VIII, marked the advent of English theatre with William Shakespeare, while the latter will be remembered for the longevity of her reign.
The programme retraces the splendour of a coronation, the tears of a funeral and the laughter of a royal wedding, sublimated by the music of Henry Purcell, George Frideric Handel, Benjamin Britten and many others.
Conductor: Cédric Meyer
Accompaniment by Annie Corrado and Nicolas Aubin
With the support of the parish and the town of Audincourt
And with the participation of the PMA Heritage Promotion Department
