Coffee pots, music boxes, wallpaper... Plant motifs are invading our everyday objects and are on show at the Musée Beurnier-Rossel.
This aesthetically pleasing display brings together the decorative arts collections of the industrial jewels of the Montbéliard region, with a focus on flowers and foliage. Starting with the flower observed in its environment, we examine how it was adapted into manufactured models, and take a fresh look at the many techniques used to produce multiple objects in the early 20th century. It's a great opportunity to see how flowers found their way into Montbéliard interiors between 1900 and 1950!
