Concert : Conversations inattendues
Concert: Conversations inattendues, by the Conservatoire du Pays de Montbéliard
This concert explores the imaginary encounter between Johann Sebastian Bach and Béla Bartók, inspired by the Mikrokosmos. Their work in counterpoint, their taste for pedagogy and their links with dance music: their similarities are naturally revealed and invite us to interweave their repertoires.
Some of the pieces in L'Art de la fugue lend themselves to free instrumentation, offering an open, abundant space for dialogue between two apparently distant worlds of sound.
Programme: B. Bartók, J.S. Bach, L. Riou, A. Tules (N. Touati)
With :
Judith Meyer, transverse flute
Marianne Muller, viola da gamba
Nicolas Aubin, harpsichord
Véronique Ngo Sach-Hien and Nelson Touati, piano
