Festival BO District : Peter Kernel

Peter Kernel is a Swiss-Canadian post-pop-art-punk duo formed by Aris Bassetti and Barbara Lehnhoff. Together they have been creating and producing their own music since 2005 on their own label, On the Camper Records.
The project was born when Barbara asked Aris to compose the music for her experimental musical Like A Giant In A Towel, presented at the Locarno International Film Festival in 2006. Their debut album How To Perform A Funeral was released in 2008, marking the start of a singular artistic journey.
Spotted by Spencer Krug of Wolf Parade, the duo were invited to support their European tour in 2010. Since then, Peter Kernel has established himself on the independent scene with several albums and numerous tours across Europe and America.
With their raw, experimental and energetic universe, Peter Kernel offer an intense and singular live show to be discovered at the Pinky Bar in Nommay, as part of the BO District festival.
