Meditative and profound, Bombino, guitar hero from Niger, evokes the immensity of the Sahara in his electrified, hypnotic blues. His music is a call for unity in this torn region, alternating between acoustic ballads and feverish tracks. Whatever the challenges of life, he pursues his mission: to share the love, understanding and richness of Tuareg culture around the world.
Since 2011, he has been recognised as one of NPR's top discoveries and has been nominated for a Grammy in 2019. He collaborated with Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) on the album Nomad. Today, Bombino is preparing his big comeback on record in 2026.
