Making a zoetrope at the Science Pavilion Workshop.
Wednesdays 18 and 25 March 2026 (workshop in 2 sessions)
In partnership with the Pavillon des Sciences in Montbéliard, this workshop invites young and old alike to delve into the secrets of the moving image.
The zoetrope, the ancestor of the cinema, is an optical toy that gives the illusion of movement through a succession of images. During these two sessions, you'll make your own motorised zoetrope, equipped with cogwheels, to observe the different gaits of animals... frame by frame.
It's a fun, creative workshop to help you understand the basics of animation.
