The TRIALOGUES ensemble invites you to discover a repertoire situated between nascent classicism and the beginnings of the Romantic period. This pivotal period is characterised by elegance, vivacity, depth and a lightness full of finesse, heralding the works of Haydn and Mozart.
In the second half of the eighteenth century, in Germany, Austria and England, the bass viol continued to play an important role alongside the cello until the first decades of the nineteenth century.
