Exposition Biennale de Bonsaï 2026 à Audincourt
Exhibition - Biennale de Bonsaï 2026 in Audincourt
On 19 and 20 September 2026, the Filature d'Audincourt will be hosting the 13ᵉ edition of the Bonsai Biennial, organised by the ASCAP Bonsai Club. A not-to-be-missed event for enthusiasts and the curious alike, this year placed under the poetic theme "The Breath of Legends".
Over an area of almost 1,000 m², you can discover more than 80 exceptional bonsai trees from French and Swiss collections, entered in a competition to showcase the finesse and elegance of this plant art. Throughout the weekend, members of the ASCAP Bonsai Club will be offering guided tours to help you better understand the history, techniques and symbolism of these fascinating miniature trees.
This year's event also features the world of Chinese artist Sishi Zhu, guest of honour, who will be unveiling a dedicated space combining calligraphy, poetry and contemporary interpretations of the great Chinese legends. An artistic immersion between tradition and modernity.
Another highlight will be the presence of the Association Française de Suiseki, who will be exhibiting a remarkable collection of contemplation stones, veritable natural sculptures evoking landscapes and imaginary forms.
Around twenty professionals and enthusiasts will also be on hand, including bonsai producers, potters, toolmakers, specialist booksellers and craftspeople, to share their expertise and help visitors discover this unique world.
It's a lively, inspiring and friendly exhibition, to be enjoyed with family and friends on a journey to the heart of the art of bonsai.
See you on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at La Filature in Audincourt.
