Concert au Grand Temple de Seloncourt : Ensemble Il Parlatorio - Musique des couvents

The IL Parlatorio ensemble was founded by its artistic director, the cellist Aleksandra Brzo'skowska, as part of her research into musical instruments in convents in northern Italy in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, which she has been pursuing since 2022 in the form of a doctorate at the Sorbonne.

Aleksandra is fascinated by the status of these women musicians, who amazed the whole of Europe, invisible behind the barred windows of convents, and by their music, whose sensuality and vitality have nothing to envy their more famous contemporaries.
