L'été des écrivains : Promenade autour d'André Beuclé Bondeval
As part of the 2026 Writers’ Summer, the André Beucler Association invites you to follow in the footsteps of this writer who was deeply attached to the Montbéliard region.
To mark the centenary of his first writings, come and discover his work, his life story and the places that shaped his history at a literary event in Bondeval.
The afternoon will begin with a screening of a short film about André Beucler’s youth and early literary career, followed by a presentation of his first short story.
Participants will then set off on a guided walk along the André Beucler Literary Trail, leading to the writer’s family home. Featuring readings by Béatrice and Patrick Plaisance from the Moulinage theatre company, this walk will offer an opportunity to discover the landscapes and sources of inspiration that shaped his work.
The afternoon will conclude with a convivial get-together over light refreshments, providing an opportunity to discuss André Beucler’s life and his current literary work.
An event open to all: children will be able to learn about a writer with a deep connection to nature and his local area through the trail’s information boards dedicated to local flora and fauna; whilst teenagers and adults will gain an insight into the perspective of an author who witnessed the 20th century and its artistic, social and cultural developments.
