Duos d'opéra : We are Women
The Conservatoire du Pays de Montbéliard presents a concert of opera duets, performed by Marie Kobayashi, Isabelle Jost and Masahico Omori.
Through works by Delibes, Puccini, Monteverdi, Mozart, Gluck, Tchaikovsky and Bernstein, this performance explores the diversity of feminine values and emotions, whilst highlighting the rapport between the artists.
The programme includes a varied selection of excerpts, ranging from Delibes’s ‘Duo des fleurs’ to early works by Monteverdi and Mozart, via love duets by Gluck and Tchaikovsky, and culminating in Bernstein’s ‘We Are Women’.
