L'église du Sacré-Cœur: un chef-d’œuvre de l’art sacré contemporain
Inaugurated in 1951 following two years of construction work largely carried out and funded by the parishioners, the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Audincourt is today a landmark of 20th-century religious architecture.
A testament to the post-war revival of sacred art, it is distinguished by the remarkable collaboration of four leading artists: the architect Maurice Novarina and the artists Jean Bazaine, Jean Le Moal and Fernand Léger.
Through their works and their dialogue with the architecture, discover a unique building that offers a distinctive perspective on contemporary sacred art.
Tour organised in partnership with the Parish of Saint-Luc.
