Concert : Breath and Beat
The Conservatoire du Pays de Montbéliard presents ‘Breath and Beat’, a musical programme that brings together two essential elements of music: breath and rhythm.
Through an original combination of the clarinet and percussion, the artists explore the links between timbres, rhythms, silences and resonances, offering a unique listening experience. Breath and rhythmic pulses, intimately linked to the human body and the movements of breathing and the heartbeat, become here the raw material for a sonic journey that is both sensitive and contemporary.
The programme features works by Libby Larsen, George Ferencz, Giacomo Platini and Sylvain Kassap, performed by Yuka Togashi on clarinets and Matthieu Hoffmann on percussion.
