The cheese dairy of Montbéliard

Artisanal production of local dairy products, short circuit, preparation of aperitif trays for dinner.

The Fromagerie de Montbéliard won the 2015 gold medal for its Morbier PDO at the 25th official Morbier PDO competition and the 2016 silver medal for its smoked Tome des Princes at the Concours Général Agricole. In addition to its creations (Audincourtois, Mandubien, Montbéliard, yoghurts, etc.), the cheese shop offers a whole range of French and Franc-Comtois AOC and farm products (cheeses, cured meats, wines, etc.).

Eight local dairy producers, grouped together in a Cheese Cooperative, have taken up the challenge of bringing this old farm back to life. This creation, which is part of the "Eco-Agglomeration" project, is one of the axes for the development of circular economies and short circuits set up to protect the biodiversity of the Montbéliard region.
