Founded in 1890 by Emile Pernot in Pontarlier, the "Les Fils d'Emile Pernot" distillery is located at the foot of the Château de Joux, just outside the world capital of absinthe, Pontarlier.
The "Les Fils d'Emile Pernot" distillery, a French absinthe specialist, offers you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the Haut-Doubs region.
The guided tour will enable you to discover absinthe and its history, and will end with a tasting of our products. The distillery has been awarded the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company) label.
Open Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm (tours at 10.30am and 4.30pm), and Saturday, 10am to 12pm (tour at 10.30am).
