À la Lueur de Juin
As summer approaches, the voices of storytellers are rising up to light up our evenings, awaken our curiosity and rekindle our imaginations.
This June, À la Lueur des Contes invites you to three unique, powerful and sensitive events in the heart of the Montbéliard region.
12 June: "Sous les Néons du Désir" - a show for adults only, directed by Véronique de Miomandre.
Based on the testimonies of women working as prostitutes in Brussels, this story gives voice to the silences, between confidences and power struggles, in a world where desire rubs shoulders with ambiguity. A rare moment, raw and poetic, to be experienced in the intimacy of the Salle Jules Carrez in Valentigney.
No booking necessary - free admission.
17 June: "Contes à Durée Indéterminée" (Tales for an indefinite period), a performance of the work done throughout the season by the students in the Workshop led by Gaëtan Gouget.
It's a convivial, funny and surprising evening of stories born of a passion for storytelling. And because we love to tell stories as much as we love to share them, the evening continues with a nibble at the Maison des Contes en Est.
Admission is free, so come as you are - and if possible, with something to nibble on!
On 21 June, as part of the Fête de la musique, we're also celebrating stories for children!
Gaëtan Gouget invites you to "La Ronde des Histoires" at the Montbéliard multimedia library: a magical time for children aged 5 and over. Tales full of sweetness, laughter and adventure, to get the summer off to a great start.

And that's not all! The company's storytellers - Mapie Caburet, Emmanuelle Filippi Hahn, Nathalie Leone, Gaëtan Gouget, François Godard and Julien Tauber - travel the roads of France and the French-speaking world throughout the year.
