Atelier au musée : linogravure

My plant print" linocut workshop at the Musée Beurnier Art Rossel in Montbéliard!
With Delphine Bucher, artist-engraver

This workshop is for you! Participants are invited to discover linocutting, an ancient craft technique that allows you to print... without a printer.

After a small collection of plant motifs in the heart of the museum - climbing plants, flowers in bouquet or buds - each participant chooses his or her subject, reproduces it and then engraves it with a gouge on a gum plate. Then comes the time for inking and printing, done by hand with a wooden spoon, to reveal a unique work of plant art.

Each participant leaves with his or her matrix and three original prints.
