Discover the art of linocut printing during a creative workshop led by the artist and printmaker Delphine Bucher. Be inspired by the world of plants and create a unique design that you’ll print onto a fabric tote bag.
Before getting started, take a moment to explore the museum’s collections and observe the patterns and shapes that will spark your imagination. Then it’s time to get creative: sketching, transferring the design, carving the rubber plate, inking and printing onto fabric using a spoon. Each step is explained and guided, so that everyone can discover this technique with ease.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your personalised tote bag along with your engraving matrix, which you can reuse to create new prints at home.
