The ‘musée de l'Aventure Peugeot’ (Aventure Peugeot museum)
Located in Sochaux, the Aventure Peugeot museum is deliberately rooted in the historical headquarters of the Peugeot brand's operations from 1810 to the present day. It showcases over 200 years of an industrial history which links the Pays de Montbéliard to the rest of the world. From saw blades to modern, futuristic vehicles, it is an adventure of remarkable longevity which is both lively and exciting.
Various exhibition areas can be enjoyed, such as the products manufactured by the first Peugeot factories (coffee grinders, laminated products, saw blades and tools, etc.), the first automobiles, mass production, commercial vehicles, bicycles and motorbikes, and motor sport.
In addition to a brasserie and a shop, the museum has a space for events and seminars, a spare parts service and a restoration workshop. It also organises numerous events each year (exhibitions, a fair, treasure hunt and car show, etc.).
Good to know: As part of the Route des Savoir-Faire of the Pays de Montbéliard, you can discover the restoration workshop and the spare-parts shop, two places that are usually closed to the public. Information and booking are available on the Museum’s website.
