Concert / Conférence : Les miroirs de l'accompagnement
The Conservatoire du Pays de Montbéliard is organising two events as part of the exchange days dedicated to support within public arts education institutions.
From 12.15 pm to 12.45 pm, the public can attend a violin and piano recital featuring works by Ravel and Ysaÿe, performed by Martin Reimann, a violinist who is a member of several European orchestras, and Emmanuel Olivier, pianist, vocal coach and conductor, and professor of accompaniment at the HEM in Geneva and the CNSMDP.
From 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm, an illustrated lecture will trace ‘The History of Accompaniment from the Renaissance to the Present Day’, led by Denis Morrier, professor of musical culture at the Conservatoire du Pays de Montbéliard, with the participation of students and accompanists from the Conservatoire.
