Animations du Patrimoine - Les peintures de l'Eglise St-Maimbœuf

Saint Maimbœuf has been venerated in Montbéliard since the 10th century. In the 19th century, his name was once again given to the imposing church built on the initiative of the Archbishop of Besançon, Cardinal Matthieu.

Over the decades, the building has been enriched with remarkable paintings by artists including Vittini, Fleury and Aubert.

Accompanied by a tour guide, set off to discover these paintings and the stories they tell: the paintings of Saint-Maimbœuf will hold no more secrets for you!

This event is part of the ‘Pays de Montbéliard Agglomération’ Heritage Programme.
