Exposition "Voyage en Nord"

Voyage en Nord? is an exhibition that combines sailing and the natural sciences. It invites us to climb aboard "Gaïa", Barbara and Thierry Courvoisier's sailing boat, and set off with them from La Rochelle to Greenland to discover the Arctic waters.

Along the way, we'll discover how a boat floats, how a sailboat can sail upwind, why the days are not the same length everywhere, what animals inhabit the Arctic regions, and how much deference there is between an iceberg and the ice sheet.

Through the eyes of adventurers, scientists or the simply curious, "Voyage en Nord" invites us to explore different aspects of the discovery of territories, science and technology.
