Rendezvous in the Pays de Montbéliard
In collaboration with the IUT Nord Franche-Comté, the Pays de Montbéliard Tourism Office invites you on a unique sound journey to discover the region in a new way.
With the podcast series “Rendezvous in the Pays de Montbéliard”, 21 students from the MACAST programme designed and produced a total of 11 episodes to showcase the Pays de Montbéliard in a different way – through its stories, emblematic places, and personalities.
After in-depth research into local heritage, they developed lively and accessible narratives. They then went on location to capture interviews, atmospheres, and authentic sounds. Each episode was written, recorded, and edited by the students themselves.
The result is an immersive, fresh, and authentic podcast series that invites listeners to discover the Pays de Montbéliard with new ears.
Rendezvous 1: Culinary Specialties
Anaëlle and Gaïa discover the region’s culinary highlights: the cheese specialties of Franche-Comté and the famous Montbéliard sausage.
Rendezvous 2: The PATT Donation
Awa, Corentin, and Charlotte tell the story of a collector couple and their generous donation of 245 contemporary artworks, now exhibited in Audincourt.
Rendezvous 3: Fort du Mont-Bart
Charlie and Enzo climb Mont-Bart and explore its military fortress, part of the Séré de Rivières defence system.
