Ten-year-old Angelo dreams of becoming an adventurer and explorer. Until one day, whilst travelling by car with his family to visit his much-loved, seriously ill Granny, he is suddenly challenged to prove his courage: accidentally left behind at a motorway service station, Angelo decides to cut through the forest to reach Granny’s house. He then finds himself deep in a mysterious land populated by strange creatures, which is threatened by an enemy even worse than the local ogre…
