Chihiro, a 10-year-old girl, is travelling to her new home with her parents. During the journey, the family stops off at a theme park that appears to be run-down. Whilst exploring, her parents stop in one of the buildings to sample some very appetising food, which has appeared as if by magic. Unfortunately, the food turns them into pigs. Panicked, Chihiro runs away and finds herself alone in this fantastical world; she then meets the enigmatic Haku, her only ally in this terrible ordeal...
