If you feel like being active, the Tourist Office rents bikes for the whole family. A great way to explore the EuroVelo 6 along the Rhine–Rhône canal. A peaceful and safe ride, perfect for taking things easy.

For car enthusiasts, a visit to the Peugeot Adventure Museum in Sochaux is a must. In addition to telling the 200-year history of the famous lion brand, the museum showcases futuristic vehicles as well as rally cars.

In Vandoncourt, La Damassine hosts numerous workshops for children (and adults as well) focused on the environment and nature, as well as meetings and exhibitions… all to discover in the programme « 1, 2, 3… Nature!». Outside, there are play areas for children in the landscaped park.
If you have a bit of time, why not enjoy a picnic at the belvedere just a few hundred metres from La Damassine to take in the panoramic view.
In Bavans, take some height (497 m) and discover the history of the Fort du Mont-Bart. The ideal time to visit is during the European Heritage Days, when special activities bring the fort back to life!
If it gets too hot, head to the Brognard leisure area! A place for walking and swimming, where you can go sailing, pedal boating, or simply enjoy beach volleyball or relax in the sun on the sand.
And of course, to end these family-friendly ideas, if you are visiting in December, don’t miss the Montbéliard Christmas Lights, its Christmas market and many festive activities for the whole family.
