Rencard in the Pays de Montbéliard
In collaboration with IUT Nord Franche-Comté, the Pays de Montbéliard Tourist Office invites you on a unique audio journey to discover the area in a whole new way.
With the podcast series “Rencard in the Pays de Montbéliard”, 21 students from the MACAST programme created and produced 11 episodes to experience the Pays de Montbéliard differently – through its stories, iconic places and personalities.
After researching the local heritage, they developed lively and accessible stories before heading into the field to capture interviews, unique atmospheres and authentic sounds. Each episode was then written, recorded and edited by the students themselves.
The result: an immersive, fresh and authentic series that invites you to listen to the Pays de Montbéliard in a whole new way.
Rencard 1: Culinary specialities
Anaëlle and Gaïa discover the region’s must-try specialities: Franche-Comté cheeses and Montbéliard sausage.
Rencard 2: The PATT Donation
Awa, Corentin and Charlotte tell the story of a collector couple and their generous donation of 245 contemporary artworks, now displayed in Audincourt.
Rencard 3: Fort du Mont-Bart
Charlie and Enzo climb Mont-Bart to explore its military fort, part of the Séré de Rivières defence system.

Emma and Kim tell the story of this iconic cattle breed, a true ambassador of the region.

Evans and Émile explore the Pays de Montbéliard to the rhythm of its musical diversity.
